WHO WE ARE
United Partners for Humanitarian Welfare is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, legally registered in Burundi, working in the humanitarian and development field, approved under the number 834/218 by the ministerial order of 08/05/2017.
We are a team of passionate and dedicated people who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people in Burundi.
We provide humanitarian and development assistance to children, women, and people who are socially and economically fragile, in difficulty or marginalized.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a healthy, balanced and dignified life. That’s why we work hard to empower local communities and promote development in the most disadvantaged areas. We do this by offering solutions that address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and injustice.
We are not alone in this mission. We collaborate with other organizations, donors, and partners who share our vision and values. Together, we aim to create a lasting impact and a brighter future for the people of Burundi and beyond.
MISSIONS
To improve the living conditions of children, women and people who are socially and economically fragile, in difficulty or marginalized, through a multisectoral assistance aiming at their inclusion in society, the social and economic empowerment of local communities and the promotion of development in the most disadvantaged areas.
We provide them with assistance that covers their basic needs, protects their rights, and helps them integrate into society.
We also empower local communities to take charge of their own development. We support them with education, health, agriculture, and income-generating activities. We help them build resilience, self-reliance, and dignity.
We believe that by working together, we can create a more prosperous and peaceful future for Burundi.
