Volunteer and Internship Program

UPHWO offers various opportunities for volunteers and interns to get involved in our work and support our mission. Whether you are a student, a professional, or a retiree, you can find a role that suits your interests, availability, and qualifications.

As a volunteer or intern, you will:

  • Work with a dedicated and diverse team of staff and partners
  • Learn about the challenges and opportunities facing the communities we serve
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our programs and projects
  • Develop your knowledge, skills, and competencies in various areas
  • Make a positive difference in the lives of the people we help

  • Child protection, education, health, and nutrition
  • Gender-based violence prevention, women’s empowerment, and livelihoods
  • Communication, advocacy, and fundraising
  • Finance, administration, and human resources
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and research
